PAWS Education is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing animal welfare through education. Our Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum empowers students with the knowledge and values needed for responsible pet ownership, fostering empathy, compassion, and responsibility.

Across the country, cities face a crisis of pet overpopulation and neglect, overwhelming animal shelters and resulting in the euthanasia of thousands of adoptable pets each day. Addressing this urgent issue requires early and sustained animal welfare education.
